Michelle Major, Finance Officer
Michelle Major has served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Boston Landmarks Orchestra since 2011. She is also the Front of the House Manager at LO’s concerts at the DCR’s Hatch Shell. Michelle has over 27 years of experience in business and accounting. She has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and an M.B.A. in Accounting from Bryant University.
Michelle is a strong believer in giving back to her community. She has been involved with Girl Scouts for over 22 years as both a girl and an adult. She is currently a troop leader, the Registrar & Treasurer of Natick Service Unit’s Team, and a Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Training Facilitator. One of her favorite things to do is help train adults to take groups of girls camping. Michelle also volunteers for the Natick Service Council’s Holiday Program, SPARK Kindness, Natick’s Neighborhood Brigade, and Natick High School’s PTSO.
Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, yoga, and going to concerts. She lives in Natick, MA with her husband and teen-aged daughter. She is proud to be a part of the Landmarks Orchestra and is inspired by the work being done to make great orchestral music available to everyone.
