Landmarks, ZUMIX, and the Power of MusicA look back at our acclaimed collaboration with East Boston’s ZUMIX. Composer Gonzalo Grau, ZUMIX Director of Operations Jenny Shulman, and ZUMIX alumna Angelina Botticelli join Maestro Wilkins to reflect on the the pieces that ZUMIX students co-composed with Grau for Landmarks. We will also touch on the unique role ZUMIX plays in Boston, and their belief that “music is the most powerful means of developing adolescent self-identity.”
