Do you love other genres of music, and want to get more into classical music?

If you like “Memories” by Maroon 5, then you’ll love Johann Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Maroon 5 uses the same chord progression as Pachelbel! Other songs you’ve heard also use this same progression, including “No Woman No Cry” by Bob Marley and “One Day More” from Les Misérables. Read more here.

If you like “Impossible” by Wu Tang Clan, then you’ll love Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 8 (Pathétique).Throughout “Impossible”, WTC includes a sample of the piano sonata which informs its mood and lyrical choices.
