Link Up

In partnership with prestigious Carnegie Hall, Link Up introduces students grades 3-5 to an orchestra by helping them become part of it.

Child with a red hijab plays a clarinet; in the foreground are other children playing their instruments as part of the Link Up program.

Students are given the opportunity to join Boston Landmarks Orchestra in a highly participatory program in which they learn to sing or play an instrument in the classroom. They then perform with Landmarks from their seats at a culminating concert during school hours at a Boston-area theatre. Link Up gives students the opportunity to take part in a shared cultural experience with students who come from different neighborhoods across the greater Boston area.
