Community Initiatives

Collaborations are at the heart of what we do. Almost every Landmarks concert features at least one community partner! Collaborations are a chance for us to learn from people from all walks of life throughout the greater Boston area. Landmarks works with young people from places like Boston String Academy and Camp Harbor View to professional artists from places like Urbanity Dance and Jean Appolon Expressions. “The partnership that Camp Harbor View has with Boston Landmarks Orchestra is our mission statement in action. Camp Harbor View is all about exposing our campers to opportunities they may have never been able to experience. Boston Landmarks Orchestra brings their music and dance to life.”
– Jillian Martin, Camp Administrator for Camp Harbor View

Neighborhood Concerts

While the Hatch Shell is our home, Landmarks performs smaller concerts throughout the city each summer. In 2021 we performed at Bethel AME in JP and Arlington Street Church.
Stay in touch with us everywhere to see where we’ll be next!

One City Choir

Founded in 2012, the One City Choir is a Landmarks staple. Made of volunteer singers from Boston and beyond, the choir perform onstage with the orchestra each year.

Recent repertoire performed includes the Verdi Requiem, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and Jerome Kern’s Showboat.
