Dance music from two worlds performed by the Landmarks Orchestra and a "pocket-sized salsa orchestra” from Villa Victoria in the South End. Merengue and mambo on an epic scale.
The Fiesta continues after the concert at Kika Tapas, one of Boston's best Hispanic restaurants where a portion of proceeds generated that night will be donated to the Landmarks Orchestra!

Grau's work has also served as the inspiration for Landmarks' Viajes program.
Dance music from two worlds performed by the Landmarks Orchestra and a ”pocket-sized salsa orchestra” from Villa Victoria in the South End. The orchestra performs favorite works of Borodin and Bernstein, both of whom successfully set popular dance music within symphonic forms. Then the combined ensembles perform music dedicated to Chano Pozo, father of present-day salsa, and two newly commissioned works showcasing popular music and dance of the Caribbean.
